I've had a few people ask me lately "how do you do it all?". "How do you fit it all in"
Honestly, I don't know the answer to that. I just do. I try my very best to make time for everything and everyone. I honestly answer every e-mail and comment that comes in my inbox. I really do read every single one.
The things is - I don't always have it put together. As much as it may seem that I always have nice clothes on and my hair is always done - the reality is this....
(I didn't have the guts to post the pic with my face in it because I'd like you guys to stick around instead of getting too scared and not reading anymore)
I wear track pants and sweat shirts ALL the time. The minute I get home from work, the work clothes come off and I put my pajamas track pants on.
Today Lilah had a about 6 melt downs and 3 time outs before we left the house at 8:30 am. So as much all people like to think I have everything all together - I too have melt downs and often wear track pants, tank tops and have my hair in a bun with no make-up.
You might even catch me down the street doing my grocery shopping like that too ;)
I am real, I'm a mom and I do wear track pants. Things aren't always how you perceive them.

How true--things are definitely not how we perceive them & we need to remember that a lot more than we do, at least I know I do! Thanks for sharing this--it's a very good reminder!
You are so right Nicole. Why do we always think the grass is greener on the other side? I love your honesty, that's the first thing that caught my attention when I found your blog. You are real, honest, not afraid to be yourself. I still don't see how you can do all you do with your blog, not to mention your life in general. You are an inspiration. :)
you definitely aren't the only one!!! that's me most days! i try to make sure i look nice when the hubs comes home after work but after dinner the comfy clothes go back on. ha ha. all of us moms don't have it all together - we just don't show our 'down' sides. lol. you are doing a great job!!!
Now I have definitely found my twin! I too live in my "jammies"...lol~ AND Connor was a crying mess by the time we left our house for school yesterday morning...and i had to hold it all together! ~ I feel your pain, but it also makes you seem like a "real" momma...just like the rest of us! much Love to you, girl~!

Now see Nicole, I think you look dressed up in that picture! It cracked me up though because before I read the explanation of why your face wasn't in the picture I totally knew. I cropped out my make-up-less face from a 5:30am pic I took with my daughter the other day. I looked like I could be her grandmother! I find reality refreshing when I realize I'm not alone.
Oh girl... I LIVE in jammies when I am at home. Sometimes I'll even do my hair and make up so the hubby doesn't think I am being grungy, but yup, always in my jammies :)
I'm the same way as far as wearing the track pants, no Mack up and crazy hair. I would love to get my regular nicer clothes ie jeans and get my hair n mack up done ha but the jeans are just going to get messy in 5 min. And I feel weird hving a full face of mack up on with track pants ha. I dunno. It's a mom thing unfortunately.
You and me both girl! I LIVE for my gym clothes! XOXO!!
Love the honesty from this post! It's so refreshing sometimes to just hear that other mommy bloggers aren't perfect! :-)
