The Zoo

Yesterday was Australia Day, so everyone had the day off work.  We spent the morning at the Melbourne Zoo.  The girls loved it!.  The highlight for Eve was the Lions.  She was asking all day to see the Lions.

The day started off with rain and we decided to head to the Zoo anyways and keep our fingers crossed that the rain stopped.  Luckily, it didn't rain 1 drop while we were at the Zoo.  It was, however, over-cast and a bit chilly, but it actually made a nice day walking around the Zoo because we didn't get too hot.

We headed home around noon, and we all slept the afternoon away.  So over all, us Canadians had a great Australia day.

I forgot my camera, but took some pictures with my phone but haven't had a chance to get them onto the computer yet.

Tomorrow I'm taking Eve to get her school shoes and some other school uniform items.  Hard to believe my baby will be 5 next week AND start school.  It's a big week - maybe more so for me!

These faces

These are the faces of true love!.
These are the faces I can't wait to see each morning when I wake up.
These are the faces I love to see a smile on.
These are the faces I will do anything for.
These are the 2 cutest faces in the world to me.
 I love these faces!

MINE!!

This little cheeky monkey has learnt to say "Mine".  Needless to say, we've been hearing it alot!!

Comments

Noone has ever left a comment on any of my posts.  I'd love to hear your feedback and comments.  I'm not sure whether to stop blogging if noone is commenting (and I don't think I have many readers anyways), or rev it up and really make this blog something special.

Comments would be appreciated on what your thoughts are about my blog decision.

The crafty girl in me

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a blog stalker.  I read quite a few blogs in this blog world and have stumbled upon 1 in particular that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!.  This is how you get to her :
http://littlemissmomma.blogspot.com/

I think she is so super cool and has kind of been bringing out the crafty girl in me.  I'm going after work today to get all the supplies needed to make the pom pom necklace.  Whats better than having a piece that noone else has?!.  Ashley has also inspired me to be the best me and to be happy with who I am and all my imperfections.

I'll be sure to post pics of the necklace once it's finished.

My cake class starts up again in a month - i'm very excited.  I'm learning how to make wedding cakes etc now.  I'm hoping that I can get good enough to perhaps make Elishia's wedding cake!.

Speaking of Elishia's wedding...i'm the Maid of Honour and so thrilled and honoured to be in that role.  The girls and I will be going home this year for the wedding and I can't wait to spend time with my family.
